Enter your birth date, time and birthplace region, then tap Get my free chart. In about 30 seconds you'll see your Year, Month, Day and Hour Pillars with your Day Master, Five Elements, Ten Gods and luck cycles. The pillars follow the traditional solar-term and Zi-hour rules, so the same birth details always give the same chart; AI then explains it in plain language. If you were born outside China, choose your birthplace region first. If you know the birth city, you can also turn on true solar time. No account is needed for the basic chart. Ba-Zi.ai is the official website of GuanXiang (观象).
The free result includes your four pillars, Day Master, Five Elements balance, Ten Gods, a luck-cycle timeline, and a life chart from age 1 to 100. The chart draws each luck cycle and year as one line, so you can see at a glance which years run smoothly and which call for care. Strength and favorable-element labels follow traditional BaZi rules. Use them to understand yourself, and weigh real-life facts for big decisions.
Q: What is a BaZi generator?
A: It turns your birth date, time, place and sex into a Four Pillars chart, the eight characters a BaZi reading is built on. Ba-Zi.ai by GuanXiang (观象) calculates the chart first, shows you the Day Master, Five Elements, Ten Gods and luck cycles, and then has AI explain them in plain language.
Q: Do I need an account to generate my chart?
A: No. The core chart is free without an account. Sign in only to save the profile, come back to the same reading, unlock the Life Rhythm Book, or keep asking questions about your chart.
Q: What does a Four Pillars BaZi chart show?
A: Four pillars (year, month, day and hour), each with a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch. From these come your Day Master (the element that stands for you), your Five Elements balance, your Ten Gods and your luck cycles.
Q: How accurate is an AI BaZi reading?
A: The chart itself is exact: the pillars follow fixed calendar, solar-term and Zi-hour rules, and you can check every one. The reading explains those traditional symbols in plain language. Use it for reflection, not as medical, legal or financial advice.
Q: What if I don't know my exact birth hour?
A: Tap I don’t know the hour. You'll see everything the date already settles, such as your year and month pillars, and you can add the hour later for the full chart.
Q: Why do BaZi calculators sometimes show different pillars?
A: Differences usually come from four things: the birthplace time zone and daylight saving, a birthday right at a solar-term change, whether a birth after 23:00 counts as the next day, and whether true solar time is applied. Set these the same way and the pillars usually match. By default we use birthplace local time, change months at solar terms, and change days at the Zi hour.
