Enter your birth date and time to see how each ten-year luck pillar treats you, and which stretch of life you are in now.
Work out the Four Pillars and the luck pillars: the year changes at Lichun, the month at each solar term, and a new luck pillar starts every ten years from your starting age.
Find your favourable and unfavourable elements with the same rules as your chart reading, then check whether each luck pillar's stem and branch help or hinder you.
Add the clashes, combinations, punishments and harms between that pillar and your chart to get a 0–100 decade score: higher is smoother, lower is a time to steady yourself.
A man born on 15 June 1990 at 10:30: his pillars are Geng Wu, Ren Wu, Xin Hai and Gui Si, with a slightly weak Xin Metal Day Master whose favourable elements are Water and Earth and whose unfavourable element is Wood. The highest bars are Gui Wei at ages 8–17 and Ren Chen at ages 98–107 (74 points). Ages 28–37 fall in the Yi You pillar: its stem Yi is Wood, his unfavourable element, and it clashes his Day Master, so the decade is Adjusting (35 points). From age 38 the Bing Xu pillar brings him back to a Tailwind stretch.
Each ten-year luck pillar gets one score. Your favourable and unfavourable elements come from the same rules as your chart reading; the score then depends on whether the pillar's stem and branch help you, and on its clashes and combinations with your chart. No AI is involved, so the same birth time always gives the same chart.
Schools choose the Useful God differently: some look only at Day Master strength, some only at the twelve life stages or the Ten Gods, and some let an AI assign scores. Here the scores follow the same favourable elements as your chart reading, and every decade can show its reasons.
Not the chart itself. Your favourable elements depend on the hour pillar, so without it there is nothing to score against. You can still look up your other pillars without the hour.
The free chart shows the broad trend decade by decade. Save your chart to see the reasons and advice for each decade; the exact years are in the paid Life K-line, year by year.
